Lychee Mittens

So, now that it's Summer, and blazing hot outside, all I can think about is Fall/Winter... Maybe it's my love of an idea: rain pouring its heart out, pounding on the windows. Hot cocoa, warm knitted blankets, and lot's of snuggling. My favorite hobby is also partly to blame. I love mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters...if yarn and needles are involved, I'm there. I can't justify hiding in my air conditioned room until the weather changes..instead I'm going to find a way to remedy it. Recently, I fell in love with The Fibre Company's yarn collection. I've slowly been buying skeins of Terra and Canopy yarns. I now have four skeins of Terra (pictured above), two pinkish colored ones, and two shades of purple. As a mitten fanatic, I'm going to try out Kate Gagnon's Lychee Mittens. Now, my only issue, is figuring out whether I want to go conventional, as in putting the like colors together, or eclectic, and mixing it up.

Hello ravelry swap partner!!!!! Can i just say I TOTALLY agree with

"rain pouring its heart out, pounding on the windows. Hot cocoa, warm knitted blankets, and lot's of snuggling"

Though i would substitute rain for snow :-P with the curtains open so you can see it falling with a christmas movie playing (even if its after christmas LoL snow and christmas go together)
